Dan D Foods Company had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Vietnam, led by Vice Chairman of HCMC People's Committee, Vo Van Hoan, during his visit to Vancouver. The delegation, comprising 45 members including city authorities and entrepreneurs, engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral business relations between Vietnam and Canada.

At the reception, Mr. Dan On, Chairman of Dan D Foods Corporation, shared valuable insights on navigating the Canadian market and discussed strategies for successfully entering into the Canadian markets. To enrich the exchange, experts from diverse fields such as business consulting, logistics, retail, and restaurants were present to address any queries from the delegation

 

The visit also coincided with an annual BBQ lunch event organized by Dan D Foods, extending invitations to stakeholders including customers, suppliers, business partners, authorities, employees and individuals working in nearby companies. The event served as a gesture of gratitude while fostering a sense of unity and appreciation within the community

The Business Forum was organized by the HCMC People's Committee and the Consul General of Vietnam in Vancouver at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver, Canada on June 27, 2023. The forum as part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Canada, with a particular focus on the relationship between HCMC and British Columbia.

110 participants engaged in discussions related to market connections for businesses, trade promotion measures, and specific areas of interest such as aquaculture products, furniture, the supply chain for restaurants, and tourism.

                             

                                  

Supporting the success of the forum, Mr. Dan On, Chairman of Dan D Foods Corporation, signed three Memorandum Agreements to reinforce social contributions. These agreements included the donation of 10 scholarships for English language skills development, aimed at enhancing the communication capabilities of civil service officers, police department personnel, and foreign trade representatives. Additionally, a donation of $100,000 was made to the National Hospital of Stomatology to support the reconstruction efforts, particularly for establishing a special care unit for children with cleft lip and palate conditions on the 5th floor. Lastly, Dan D Foods contributed an ambulance and a fire truck with a two-deck ladder, further bolstering the welfare and safety of citizens in Ho Chi Minh City
